Matthew Longhurst

Matthew Longhurst has extensive experience in the aviation industry, currently serving as the Deputy Training Manager (Airbus) and Check First Officer (A320) at Air New Zealand since May 2019. Prior roles at Air New Zealand include Deputy Fleet Manager for both the B777 and B787, as well as Second Officer on the B777. Previously, Matthew worked at easyJet from February 2011 to May 2019, where positions included Training Captain, Airline Captain, Senior First Officer, and First Officer. Matthew holds an EASA ATPL degree from CTC Aviation (2008-2009) and a BSc(Hons) in Psychology from the University of Greenwich (2002-2005).
