Air Temp Mechanical Services, Inc. is Connecticut’s largest independent HVAC contractor. We are a full service mechanical contracting firm that specializes HVAC, building management systems (BMS), energy efficiency and advanced energy solutions for commercial buildings and industrial buildings, we design, implement, and evaluate programs that help our clients achieve their energy efficiency goals. We are seeking a dedicated Controls Technician to join our rapidly expanding team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Responsible for field level control service and install of DDC systems
  • Install, commission, troubleshoot, and service control components related to DDC systems
  • Perform field controller installation and replacement including demo and wire termination
  • Complete project checkout including point to point commissioning
  • Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to determine wiring terminations
  • Keeps management apprised of job progress and issues
  • Complete administrative tasks such as documenting and filling out service reports
  • Other duties as needed

Requirements:

  • CT E-2 Journeyperson or E-1 Masters License

  • Minimum of 2 – 5 years’ HVAC controls experience

  • Experience with Honeywell, Distech, and Johnson Controls preferred

  • Tridium Niagara Certification preferred

  • Valid CT Driver's License

  • OSHA 10 Certificate

  • Lift 50+ Pounds

  • Ability to climb ladders

  • Ability to work in both cold and hot conditions

  • Positive and friendly attitude

  • Ability to work as a team
