Anupama Krishnan (Ana)

Anupama (Ana) Krishnan is an experienced educator and mentor currently serving as a Math and Innovation Studio (Design) Teacher at New England Innovation Academy since August 2022. Ana also works as a Gates Foundation Math and Computer Science Tutor with Air Tutors, focusing on helping socioeconomically disadvantaged students in grades 3-10 achieve foundational math proficiency and confidence, while developing and teaching an introduction to coding course. Previously, at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, Ana held various roles, including Academic Resource Codesigner, where concise presentations were created to simplify complex systems, and represented students on the Presidential Search Committee. Ana's leadership experience includes serving as President of the Student Government and as a Sustainability Intern, where efforts were made towards environmental awareness and carbon footprint reduction. Ana holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a concentration in Design from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering and is an AP Scholar with Distinction from West Orange High School.
