Elisa Akpo-Esambe

Elisa Akpo-Esambe is an experienced educator currently serving as an English Second Language Teacher at Allegheny Intermediate Unit and as an Educator with Air Tutors. With a background in early childhood and elementary education, previous roles include Lead Preschool Teacher at Boys & Girls Clubs of America, where curriculum development and engagement in creative programming were emphasized. Elisa has taught English as a Second Language to students in China at VIPKid, utilized innovative instructional methods with young children at Angels' Place, Inc., and contributed to early childhood education through various teaching positions. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Education and a Bachelor’s in Applied Developmental Psychology, both obtained from the University of Pittsburgh.
