Roman Gonzalez

Roman Gonzalez is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and system architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Airbnb since July 2024, Roman previously held similar roles at DigitalOcean, where significant contributions included re-architecting the Droplet Scheduler service and the Hypervisor reporting mechanism. Early career experience includes development of a cryptocurrency wallet at FP Complete, leadership in various Haskell and Clojure community meetups, and co-founding Birdseye Software Inc.
