Vitalijs Komarovs

Vitalijs Komarovs is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend and software development. At Airbnb since August 2019, Vitalijs has architected and delivered features for the platform. Before this, Vitalijs served as a Senior Backend Developer at Urbandoor, focusing on integrations using Ruby on Rails. Vitalijs held multiple positions at Cisco from 2011 to 2018, including Senior Developer for Webex, where responsibilities included leading the design and development of APIs for the Spark platform, as well as working on its calling components. Early career experience includes roles as a Software Developer at Cisco, where Vitalijs worked on both client-side and server-side development, and an internship as a Junior Software Developer at Econiq. Vitalijs holds a Bachelor Honours degree and a BSc in Software Development from Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology.
