Ana Santos Silva has a diverse range of work experience. Ana started their career at CeNTI - Centre for Nanotechnology and Smart Materials as a Trainee from October 2008 to March 2009. Ana then worked at Probos-Resinas e Plásticos, SA as a Quality Control Inspector from September 2010 to August 2012, and later as a Metrology Technician from September 2012 to February 2013.

In 2013, Ana joined Carnes Valinho, SA as a Quality & Environment Manager from February to November, before moving on to Paenal Yard. At Paenal Yard, they held multiple roles, including Quality Assurance Analyst from November 2013 to October 2015, and Quality Assurance Engineer from November 2015 to October 2017.

After their time at Paenal Yard, Ana joined NGM International B.V. as a Logistics Assistant from June 2018 to September 2019. Most recently, they have been working at Airborne, first as a QC/QA Engineer from September 2019 to January 2021, and currently as a Quality Assurance Engineer since January 2021.

Throughout their career, Ana has been involved in various aspects of quality assurance, logistics, and project management, and has experience in implementing and maintaining quality management systems.

Ana Santos Silva obtained a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto in 2009. In 2011, they attended a General English course at WSI - Wall Street Institute Póvoa de Varzim. In the same year, they received training on Quality Tools from APQ, Associação Portuguesa para a Qualidade. In 2010, Ana received training in Standard ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems, Persuasive Communication, Communication & Teamwork from AEP, Associação Empresarial de Portugal. Ana also completed a Training Trainers Course at Instituto das Artes e Ciências in the same year.
