Anthony Carter, MSc (Hons), EMBA

Anthony Carter, MSc (Hons), EMBA has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Anthony is currently serving as the Senior Solutions Architect for Applications, Network, and Network Security at Airbus US Space & Defense, Inc. In this role, Anthony is responsible for managing new solutions from concept to implementation and expanding the company's footprint to support growing demand.

Prior to their current position, Anthony worked as the Head of Network and Network Security at Airbus, where they oversaw network services and security delivery across the Airbus America companies in Mexico, USA, and Canada. Anthony played a key role in the transition of Airbus IT into ITIL supported service delivery and managed the overall WAN, LAN, and internet networking using various devices.

Before joining Airbus, Anthony served as the Head of IT/Acting CIO at Airbus OneWeb Satellites. In this role, they led the development of a high-volume satellite manufacturing capability and built the entire IT/IS infrastructure and teams necessary for the successful production of 1200 satellites.

Anthony also gained valuable experience during their tenure at Pentaho, where they held multiple roles including Director of Information Technology, Director of Support, and EMEA Senior Technical Support Engineer Lead. Anthony developed long-term strategies for efficient information processing and communication technologies, managed IT department operations and planning, and led a team of technical support personnel.

Earlier in their career, Anthony worked as a Senior Support Consultant at SABA Software, where they researched and solved technical support questions for clients. Anthony also served as a PC Systems Admin Snr I at Synopsys (Northern Europe) Ltd., where they were responsible for IT servers and workstations for multiple sites.

Furthermore, Anthony held positions at Cognos as a Technical Analyst and at Intrasoft as a DBA, where they were responsible for managing servers and databases. Anthony also gained experience as an IT Consultant at the European Commission, where they provided support for Unix and Windows environments and Oracle databases.

Anthony began their career as an IT Specialist at Arc Cores Ltd., where they reviewed and restructured Unix and Windows environments and provided end-user support.

Throughout their career, Anthony has shown a strong emphasis on technical expertise, project management, team leadership, and strategic planning.

Anthony Carter, MSc (Hons), EMBA, has a diverse and extensive education history. Anthony began their academic journey in 1983 at the British School of Brussels, where they pursued their GCSE/A levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Computing until 1989. Following this, they joined Nottingham Trent University, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computing Systems from 1989 to 1994. Coupled with their strong foundation in technology, their academic pursuits continued in 2021 when they enrolled at the Quantic School of Business and Technology. Anthony successfully completed an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) in Business Administration and Management, General, from 2021 to 2023. With this educational background, Anthony Carter, MSc (Hons), EMBA, possesses a comprehensive understanding of both computing systems and business administration.
