ANTHONY (TONY) KRAWIETZ

Director, Business Development Airpower at Airbus US Space & Defense

Anthony (Tony) Krawietz has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. ANTHONY (TONY) currently serves as the Director of Business Development for Military Aircraft at Airbus US Space & Defense, Inc. In this role, they are responsible for developing strategies and driving business growth for the company. Prior to joining Airbus, Krawietz worked as a Principal in the USAF Market at LMI, a consulting firm specializing in government management. In this position, they led a team of consultants in designing and implementing solutions to complex problems in areas such as analytics, digital services, logistics, and energy.

Before their time at LMI, Krawietz served as the Deputy Program Manager at Amyx, Inc. where they provided oversight and management for a diverse team supporting the Joint Improvised-Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIDO). ANTHONY (TONY) also worked as the AF Chair and Assistant Professor of Financial Service Industry and Defense Strategy at The Eisenhower School-National Defense University. In this role, they taught master's level curriculum on national security strategies and defense resource strategies. Krawietz also led the Financial Services Industry study course, which examined the role of the finance industry in national defense.

Prior to their roles in academia, Krawietz held several leadership positions in the United States Air Force. ANTHONY (TONY) served as the Director of the SecAF/CSAF Exec Action Group, where they led a staff responsible for supporting the Secretary and Chief of Staff of the Air Force. ANTHONY (TONY) developed strategies, managed communications, and planned conferences to enhance the Air Force's mission. Krawietz also served as the Wing Commander of the 97th Air Mobility Wing at Altus AFB and the Vice Wing Commander of the 436th Airlift Wing at AMC. In these positions, they oversaw operations, budgeting, and personnel management for large military units.

Additionally, Krawietz has experience working in the Joint Staff-Nat'l Military Cmd Systems/COOP/COG, where they led a team responsible for assessing command and control systems supporting the National Military Command System. ANTHONY (TONY) also completed a graduate program at the National Defense University, specializing in national security and military and resource strategies.

Throughout their career, Krawietz has demonstrated strong leadership and strategic skills, successfully leading teams and implementing solutions in both government and private sector organizations.

Anthony (Tony) Krawietz has a strong and diverse education history. ANTHONY (TONY) attended the United States Air Force Academy from 1986 to 1990, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Following this, they pursued their Master of Arts in Management at Webster University from 1999 to 2001, focusing on Finance, General. Later, in 2003 to 2004, they attended the USAF Air Command and Staff College, where they pursued a degree in Military Arts and Science. In 2007 to 2008, Anthony earned their Master of Science degree in National Resourcing and Strategy from ICAF. Lastly, in 2011, Anthony attended the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, where they completed the Enterprise Leadership Seminar, specializing in Business and Leadership.
