We are looking for a dynamic, hands on, and highly motivated VP of Accounting / Global Controller to lead our talented Finance team based in Paris & New York.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee all accounting matters and spearhead treasury operations while providing strategic guidance to ensure financial integrity and compliance.

Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will play a critical role in shaping our financial strategy and driving operational excellence in an international context.

Position can be based in New York, San Francisco or Washington State.

Your role @ Aircall:

  • Shape and execute Aircall's financial strategy, aligning it with organizational goals
  • Supervise and mentor a team of talented finance professionals (5 direct reports and 13 people in total) providing guidance and support
  • Enhance department efficiency to ensure readiness for future growth
  • Spearhead cross-departmental initiatives to streamline processes and optimize systems in close collaboration with the FP&A team
  • Champion compliance and internal controls, fostering a culture of accountability
  • Collaborate with leaders to drive change management initiatives and foster innovation
  • Partner with leader of FP&A to design and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial performance
  • Inspire and motivate the team to achieve excellence and exceed expectations
  • Foster strong relationships with third-party resources, vendors, and partners
  • Be the main point of contact of the auditors

A little about you:

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in Accounting and Finance roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP or IFRS
  • Active ownership of global audit
  • Proficiency in consolidation is highly desirable
  • Demonstrate mastery of financial processes and international accounting principles
  • Experience leading accounting due diligence effort is a plus
  • Experience in complex transfer pricing arrangements and handling international tax issues would be highly regarded although not mandatory
  • International team management experience
  • Change management experience
  • Fluent English is mandatory for this role
