Yvonne Anaekwe has had a diverse work experience, starting with a Product Designer Intern role at Zeroqode in 2018. Yvonne then moved on to a role as an Information Technology Support Analyst at Petroleum Technology Development Fund in 2019. In 2020, they took on roles as a Product Designer at Airdev, a Bubble Designer and Developer at Bubble, and a UI Designer/Developer at Vensy. In 2022, they assumed a Product Designer role at Contour. At Airdev, their responsibilities included building fully-responsive designs using Canvas framework, implementing custom designs based on client guidance, and collaborating directly with clients and internal teams. At Bubble, they were a Bubble Designer and Developer. At Contour, their responsibilities included setting design requirements based on information from internal teams and user research, identifying new product improvement opportunities, and analyzing how a new product satisfies market needs and consumer preferences. At Vensy, they designed and built components for a gaming web application, and managed and updated user functionalities on the app. At Petroleum Technology Development Fund, they resolved all issues relating to network cables by patching, and provided IT support to members of staff.

Yvonne Anaekwe is currently working towards a Master of Digital Experience Innovation (UX Design) at the University of Waterloo, with a focus on Interaction Design and Business. Yvonne previously attended Perxels Design School to study UI/UX Design and Product Design in 2022. From 2014 to 2018, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (Technology) at Babcock University.
