Colin Williams

Colin Williams has a diverse and extensive work experience in various companies and roles.

Colin currently holds the position of Chief Product Officer at Airfinity Ltd since July 2022.

Before that, from September 2020 to July 2022, they worked as the Vice President of Strategy, Health Analytics at Elsevier.

From January 2017 to August 2020, Colin served as the Vice President of Product Management at Cirium.

Prior to Cirium, they worked at IMS Health as the Director of Offering Development, Global Market Insights from September 2015 to December 2016.

Colin had a long tenure at Thomson Reuters, where they held multiple roles. From June 2009 to September 2015, they served as the Director of Product Strategy, Life Sciences. Colin was responsible for developing technology-based data and analytics solutions for scientists in Life Science Research and Development and clinical applications in Healthcare. Colin also managed a multi-million dollar product portfolio and a team of product managers.

Before their role as Director, Colin was the Product Manager for Biology and Bioinformatics from June 2007 to May 2009, and prior to that, they served as the Editorial & Content Manager for GENESEQ from November 2005 to May 2007. In this role, they managed an operational team and focused on resource management and quality standards.

Colin's earlier experiences include working as a Senior Scientist at ASM Scientific from September 2003 to November 2005, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Sheffield from August 2002 to August 2003.

Colin Williams earned a BSc in Biochemistry from The University of Sheffield, where they studied from 1995 to 1998. Following this, they pursued a PhD in Structural Biology at the same institution from 1999 to 2002.
