Mikko Alanko has a long and successful career in the technology industry. Mikko began their career in 1994 as a Sales Manager for IT-Products at Datavalinta Ltd, where they increased sales and market share from 12% to 28% and sales by 150%. In 1997, they became the CEO and Entrepreneur at ATK-Net Ltd. In 2000, they were a Project Manager for e-Commerce at E-Sky Ltd, where they developed an e-marketplace with a concept integrated to wholesaler to increase sales. That same year, they became a Product Manager for e-Commerce at Saunalahti Group Oyj, where they launched 7 complex B2C e-Commerce services with marketing and revenue plans. In 2004, they were a Sales and Business Development Manager at muvee Singapore, where they grew the mobile business globally. From 2008 to 2009, they were the Vice President of Business Development and Partnerships at Qvantel Singapore, where they established a sales office in Singapore and headed operations in APAC. During this time, they also worked as the Business Development Director for APAC at Scalado, Singapore, where they focused on radically enhancing the image experience on camera devices. In 2013, they became the Co-Founder of AirGo Design, an award-winning and patent pending design concept that brings both airline profits and passenger experience to a whole new level.
Mikko Alanko has a well-rounded educational background. Mikko began their studies in 1993, completing their High School Degree at Raumanmeri Evening High School in 1996. Mikko then went on to receive a Marketing Degree from the Institute of Marketing in 1997. From 1997 to 2000, Mikko attended Tampere Polytechnic Business School, where they obtained a BBA in Marketing and Communications. In 2001, they received The Graduate Certificate from Mercuria Business School in e-Commerce. Finally, in 2002, Mikko earned an MBA in International Business from the Asian Institute of Technology.
