Manuel Hobi

Manuel Hobi is a seasoned professional in the aviation industry with extensive experience in safety, quality, and training. Currently serving as the Head of Safety, Quality & Training at Airline Assistance Switzerland since May 2022, Manuel has also held key roles including Health, Safety, Security, Quality, Training & Emergency Officer and Ground Handling Internship Training & Quality. Prior experience includes a position as Luftverkehrsangestellter with Swissport from November 2018 to July 2022, and as a Handling Agent with Motorfluggruppe Zürich between July 2018 and December 2019, specializing in passenger services and aircraft maintenance. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Management and Law from ZHAW School of Management and Law, a Bachelor's degree in Aviatik from ZHAW School of Engineering, and a Private Pilot License from Kreutzer Aviation Services GmbH. Additional training includes completing the Richtstrahl Offizier program at Höhere Kaderausbildung der Armee and obtaining a Matura with a focus on Mathematics and Physics from Kantonsschule Trogen.
