Matt Harris

Matt Harris is a Senior Human Factors Change Specialist at Airservices Australia, bringing extensive experience in human factors and system safety from previous roles at the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand, where contributions included serving as Chief Advisor, Human Factors, and Safety Investigator. Matt's expertise encompasses the analysis of accident data and the application of socio-technical systems principles. Prior positions included Design Certification Engineer at Flight Structures Ltd, Sales Engineer at Keyence, and various roles at AgustaWestland, where responsibilities ranged from production engineering to process improvement. Currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland, Matt also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Cardiff University.
