Peter Egan

Peter Egan has over 10 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management. Peter is currently working as a Procurement Transformation Lead at Airservices Australia, where they began in 2023. Prior to this role, Peter worked as a Strategic Procurement Manager at The University of Notre Dame Australia from 2021 to 2023. Peter was responsible for leading and implementing the procurement transformation program at the university. Before that, Peter served as a Strategic Procurement Program Manager at Sydney Trains from 2020 to 2021 and as a Procurement Transition Manager at TAFE NSW in 2020. Peter also worked as a Procurement Transformation Program Director at Ausgrid from 2018 to 2019, leading a team to develop and implement a group-wide procurement approach. Peter has worked in various managerial roles at BlueScope from 2010 to 2015, including Manager of Procurement Technology & Governance, Manager of Procurement Services, Manager of Supplier Services, and Procure to Pay Process Leader. Peter also held the role of General Manager of Procurement Business Services at nbn™ Australia from 2015 to 2016 and served as a Supply Chain Project Manager at Sydney Water from 2017 to 2018.

Peter Egan holds a Master's Degree in Business/Commerce, General from the University of Wollongong. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Leading with Emotional Intelligence from LinkedIn, Standard First Aid, CPR and AED from Survival First Response Pty Ltd, and an Electrical Supervisor Certificate from NSW Fair Trading.
