Andrew Rugamba

Andrew Rugamba has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Andrew started their career in 2011 as a Sales Director at Sasatel, where they developed and executed sales strategies for the retail channel, sales channels, and distribution. In 2012, they joined MTN Uganda as a Senior Manager of Sales Mobile Financial Services, responsible for developing and implementing the Mobile Money strategy and managing key external stakeholders. Andrew then moved on to Sure Telecom in 2016 as the Head of Sales and Distribution, where they developed and executed sales and distribution strategies and implemented systems for smooth operations in the sales department. From 2017 to 2019, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at Pegasus Technologies Limited. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Financial Services at Airtel Uganda. Overall, Andrew Rugamba's work experience showcases their expertise in sales, distribution, strategy development, and management in the telecommunications industry.

Andrew Rugamba completed their education in a chronological order. Andrew attended St Mary's College Kisubi from 1991 to 1994 and obtained a high school degree in U.C.E. Following that, they pursued further education at Makerere University from 1998 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in social work and social administration. From 1995 to 1998, they attended St Mary's College Kisubi again and obtained a high school degree in U.A.C.E. Lastly, Andrew Rugamba attended Paris ESLSCA Business School from 2014 to 2016, where they accomplished a Master's degree in International Business.
