Antonio Nucci

Antonio Nucci is the current Chief Technology Officer at Aisera. Antonio has also previously served as the Chief Technology Officer Advanced Technologies and AI at Cisco from April 2015 to November 2019. In this role, they were responsible for setting the end-to-end technology strategy in support of the high growth CX products portfolio. This included creating and staffing the CX Office of Innovation, attracting and hiring 40 Data Scientists, and bootstrapping the Cisco Open Innovation Network. Antonio also envisioned, developed, and operationalized a modern, unified micro-services PaaS to accelerate the Development-to-Delivery of CX products.

Nucci is a regular speaker at Cisco Live events, delivering 2-hour technical breakout sessions on a wide array of topics, from datacenter and cloud automation to machine and deep learning applications for networking. Antonio has also protected Cisco's Intellectual Property with a comprehensive IP strategy, filing 26 patent applications with the USPTO.

In addition to their role as Chief Technology Officer, Nucci has also served as Head-of Engineering, managing a team of 1,000 engineers across 4 sites.

Antonio Nucci completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Software Engineering at Politecnico di Torino. Prior to that, they completed a Master’s Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at the same school.
