Ivan Savciuc

Ivan Savciuc has been in the software engineering industry since 2006. Ivan began their career as a Java Developer at Alina Electronic in 2006. Ivan then moved on to Tomato Group as a Software Developer in 2007, where they worked on various projects such as websites and REST APIs using the LAMP stack, Symfony framework, XML and jQuery. In 2008, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Softreactor LLC and as a C# Developer at Sajer Software. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Sunrise Innovations Inc, and then as a Team Lead at Peak Games. In 2013, they joined Nu3 GmbH as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for the design and implementation of back-end solutions, mentoring junior developers and establishing/communication of architecture. In 2015, they took on the role of Director Software Engineering at "The ADEX" leading DMP Technology, where they were responsible for leading a team of 9 engineers and developing a distributed system. In 2018, they joined synergist.io as a Principal Engineer and VP of Engineering, where they were responsible for leading a Berlin team to design and develop new products for the Legal Service Industry. Ivan currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at Aiven since 2019.

Ivan Savciuc obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Moldova from 2002 to 2007. In 2017, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster certification from scrumalliance.org. In 2019, they obtained an Advanced Scrum certification from LinkedIn.
