Jen Szabo

Senior People Experience Designer at Aiven

Jen Szabo has worked for a variety of companies since 2005. Jen began their career as a Sales Assistant and Visual Merchandiser for Ozmosis (Rip Curl Group) in 2005. Jen then moved to Flight Centre Travel Group in 2008, where they worked as a Retail Travel Consultant and Retail Team Leader. In 2011, they relocated to the UK and began working for Corporate Traveller Australia as an Account Manager. Jen continued to work for Corporate Traveller UK in 2012, where they held the roles of Account Manager, Assistant Team Lead, and People Development Manager. In 2017, they joined Hudson River Trading as a People Operations specialist. In 2020, they worked for Mixtiles as an Artist Relations Manager and Customer Service Specialist, as well as a Tour Production Manager for Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group (which was suspended due to COVID-19). Finally, in 2021, they joined Chainlink Labs as a People and Culture Specialist, and in 2022 they joined Aiven as a Senior Specialist - Employer Brand and Employee Experience Specialist.

Jen Szabo completed a B. Business & Commerce / B. Communication degree from Monash University between 2006 and 2010, with a focus in Public Relations. In 2021, they obtained the Jen Pivots Program certification from The Dream Collective. Additionally, in 2006, they obtained a Certificate III Retail Operations certification from MEGT (Australia) Ltd.
