Kate Macdonald

Kate Macdonald has worked in a variety of roles in the past 19 years. Kate began their career in 2002 as a Business Support Analyst at Ernst & Young. In 2004, they became an English as a Second Language Teacher at Frontier International Preschool. In 2010, they moved to Renfrew County District School Board as a Core French Teacher. In 2011, they joined BBG Management Corporation as an Account Manager, eventually becoming the VP Sales and Business Development, Eastern North America, and then the Chief Operating Officer. In 2019, they were President, Recruiter at KGM Recruiting Ltd. and is currently the Executive Talent Acquisition Manager, Talent Acquisition Lead, and Recruiter at Aiven.

Kate Macdonald has an extensive educational background. Kate obtained a Master of Science in Teaching from the State University of New York College at Potsdam in 2008, with a field of study in Childhood Education. In 2001, they obtained a Certificate from Sheridan College in Information Technology Professional Internship. From 1995 to 1999, they obtained a BAH from Queen's University with a Special Field Concentration in Linguistics. Lastly, they attended Renfrew Collegiate Institute (RCI).
