Maiken Pelby

Maiken Pelby has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Maiken is currently the Head of People & Culture at cVation, where they are responsible for employer branding, sourcing, recruiting, and developing employees. Prior to this, they worked as an HR Business Partner at Fiftytwo A/S, focusing on the employee life cycle. Maiken also served as an HR Manager at DAY ET samt EveryonePrint, where they were involved in setting up the HR department and leading the carveout process. Before that, Maiken took a break from their career to focus on their children's well-being. Earlier in their career, they held positions as an Afdelingschef at Dragør Kommune, a Management Consultant at PwC, and a Udviklingskonsulent at Garantifonden for danske optioner og futures. Overall, Maiken has a strong background in HR, people management, and organizational development.

Maiken Pelby began their education in 1985 at N. Zahles Gymnasieskole, where they obtained a studentereksamen degree with a focus on mat-fys. From 1988 to 1994, they attended Copenhagen Business School and earned a cand.merc. degree in Filosofi, økonomi og ledelse. In 2012, Maiken pursued further education at Professionshøjskolen UCC - Alumni and completed a Diplom i ledelse program, earning 30 ETCS points. Additionally, from 2012 to 2015, they participated in an Uddannelsesforløb i ledelse af inkluderende læringsmiljøer at Nationalt Videncenter for Inklusion og Eksklusion.

Maiken Pelby has also obtained several certifications. In November 2020, they became a certified practitioner with FirstMind | Better People Decisions. In September 2021, they earned a certification in World Class Employer Branding from the Employer Branding Academy. Most recently, in February 2023, Maiken obtained a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft.
