Kathia Barahona

Kathia Barahona has been working in the software engineering industry since 2014. Kathia started their career as a Physics Instructor and Tutor at Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana in 2014. In 2015, they joined Agile Solutions as a Full Stack Developer, where they maintained and improved data-related services and lead a team. In 2018, they moved on to Iconic as a Data Scientist, where they analyzed user behavior from Freeform OTT and Mobile platforms. In 2019, they joined Adjust as a Team Lead Automate Analytics and Python Backend Engineer. In 2021, they moved to Marley Spoon as a Senior Software Engineer. Currently, they are working as a Senior Software Engineer at Objectiv, where they are helping the Data Science team and building data pipelines using Bach for DS models. In 2023, they joined Aiven as a Software Engineer.

Kathia Barahona obtained their Licenciatura in Ingeniería en Sistemas Computacionales from the Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana between 2013 and 2017. In December 2018, they completed Wharton Executive Education's Business Analytics: From Data to Insights certification. In April 2021, they also completed agile42's Introduction to Agile and Scrum certification.
