Loren Snodgrass

Loren Snodgrass has a long history of work experience in the IT field. Starting in 1997, Loren held the role of PC Technician at Iomega and IT Consultant at TekSystems. In 1998, Loren moved to Electric Lightwave, Inc. as a Junior Network Administrator. Following that, Loren worked at Parr, Waddoups, Brown, Gee and Loveless as a Network Administrator in 1999. In 2000, Loren worked as a LAN Administration Specialist II at the Utah Board of Pardons and Parole. From 2006 to 2012, Loren worked as an Information Security Analyst II at the State of Utah, Department of Technology Services. In 2012, Loren moved to Tomax Corporation as a Security Engineer and Senior Security Analyst. In 2015, Loren moved to Demandware, a Salesforce company, as a Security Operations Manager. From 2017 to 2021, Loren worked at Salesforce as a Systems Security Lead and Security Operations Senior. Currently, Loren works at Aiven as a Security Operations Manager and Senior Security Operations Engineer.

Loren Snodgrass earned a B.S. in Information Systems & Technologies from Weber State University in 2006, and an M.S. in Information Assurance from Norwich University in 2011. Loren also holds seven certifications, including Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from (ISC)² in 2017, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2011, Linux+ Certified Professional from CompTIA in 2007, Security+ Certified Professional from CompTIA in 2007, Certified Novell Engineer (CNE) from Novell in 2002, Network+ Certified Professional from CompTIA in 2000, and A+ Certified Service Technician from CompTIA in 1999.
