Mario Leal has worked in the IT industry since 2008. Mario began their career as a Senior Managed Services Consultant at Epicor Software Corp. In 2015, they moved to OrecX as a Support Engineer, where they provided remote training and assistance to customers from around the world. In 2018, they became a Service Reliability Engineer at Amadeus, where they were part of a team in charge of High Availability and Reliability on large distributed systems. In 2021, they began working as a Support Engineer at Scality. Currently, they are a Senior Support Engineer at Aiven.

Mario Leal obtained a B. Eng. Industrial Engineer Administrator from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León between 2000 and 2005, with a field of study in Productivity and Quality. Mario also holds various certifications, including 2xpert from 2X Software, Epicor E9 Technical and Tools Certification from Epicor Software, Epicor iScala Technical Certification from Epicor Software, ITIL V3 Foundation from Pearson VUE, MCSA SQL Server 2008 from Microsoft, MCTS SQL Server 2008, Business Intelligence Development and Maintenance from Microsoft, and MCTS SQL Server® 2008, Implementation and Maintenance from Microsoft.
