Julian Puffer

Julian Puffer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Julian began their career with an internship in Human Resources, Controlling/Finance, and Marketing at thyssenkrupp. Julian then worked as a Recruiter at GLOBALFOUNDRIES before joining TU Dresden as a Project Manager for the 12th Dresden Microelectronics Academy.

Following their time at TU Dresden, Julian worked at Infineon Technologies, where they completed their Master's thesis and gained experience in Innovation Management. Julian then co-founded the Hörsaalgeflüster Festival before returning to TU Dresden as a Research Assistant at the Chair of Strategic Management.

Julian joined thyssenkrupp again, this time in its Forged Technologies division. Julian held various roles, including Assistant to the Commercial Director, Senior Controlling Specialist, and Head of Controlling for Forged Technologies China and Automotive Europe. Julian also supported global projects in India and Europe.

Most recently, Julian served as Director and Vice President of Controlling at AIXTRON SE, a global market leader in MOCVD equipment. Julian was responsible for Financial Planning and Analysis, Operations Controlling, Research and Development Controlling, and Subsidiary Controlling for the AIXTRON group.

Julian Puffer completed their education at Technische Universität Dresden. Julian earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business & Economics from 2009 to 2012. Julian continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Business Administration (BWL) from 2012 to 2014.
