Nitesh Varma

Nitesh Varma has a diverse work experience in finance and accounts, with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry. Nitesh served as the Head of Finance & Accounts for the CIS region at Ajanta Pharma Ltd starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were the General Manager Finance at Africa Middle East CFO & Management Advisors LLC from 2022 to 2023. Before that, they held the position of Senior Manager - Finance Business Partner and FP&A for the SSA region at Cipla Kenya from 2022 to 2022 and Manager - Business Finance Partner and FP&A for the SSA region from 2019 to 2021. Nitesh also served as the Finance Manager for the Africa region at VFS Global for a brief period in 2019. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Assistant Manager and Finance Controller for the Nigerian subsidiary of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd. from 2016 to 2019, and as a Finance Manager at Cipla Ltd. from 2013 to 2016, where they supported various regions including North Africa and South Asia.

Nitesh Varma earned an MBA in International Business and Finance from PTVA's Institute of Management from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accounting and Auditing at Thakur College of Science & Commerce from 2006 to 2010. Nitesh Varma completed their high school education at St. Francis High School in Mumbai in an unspecified year before 2005.
