Nuria Tesón is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in video journalism and foreign correspondence, currently serving as the Cairo bureau deputy chief for FRANCE 24 since September 2017. As an independent video journalist for various media outlets including AJ+, Al Jazeera, and Deutsche Welle, Tesón specializes in producing visually engaging stories on migration, politics, culture, and environmental issues. In addition to journalism, Tesón co-founded the collective MásTesón, which focuses on storytelling through photography and writing. As a consultant and trainer for Tactical Tech, Tesón develops educational content for investigative journalism workshops. Tesón holds a Master's degree in Communication from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
