Dominique N. Gales-Badea, Ph.D.

Dominique N. Gales-Badea, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of life sciences. Starting from 2014, they worked as a Fellow in the Introduction into Cancer Research Program at the National Cancer Institute. In 2017, they transitioned to a Post Doctoral Fellowship at Morehouse School of Medicine, where they conducted research on BrCa cells and presented their findings at scientific symposia and conferences. Dominique N. also obtained a certification in drug development from Eli Lilly and Company in 2018. From 2019 to 2021, they worked in product development at Metaclipse Therapeutics Corporation. In 2021, they joined Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies as a Field Application Scientist and remained in that role until 2023. Currently, they are working at Akadeum Life Sciences, Inc. as a Field Application Scientist. Throughout their career, they have also served as a Scientist Mentor and Diversity Biotechology Scholar at the International Center for Professional Development and has held various roles at Tuskegee University, including Integrative Biosciences Ph.D. Fellow, Human Biology Instructor, and Cancer Researcher.

Dr. Dominique N. Gales-Badea earned their Bachelor's degree in Biology from Tuskegee University in 2009. Dominique N. then went on to complete their Master's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Tuskegee University from 2009 to 2012. Dr. Gales-Badea further pursued their education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Integrative Biosciences from Tuskegee University, graduating in 2017.
