Karsten Fuelster

Karsten Fuelster is an accomplished professional in project management and finance with extensive experience in sustainable infrastructure and development initiatives. Currently serving as Project Manager for Sustainable Infrastructure at Dornier Group, Fuelster leads a team providing consultancy to PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur on diversifying and enhancing its infrastructure portfolio in Indonesia. As Managing Director of Kinyaga Biotech Campus GmbH, Fuelster is instrumental in developing a Biotech Campus in Kigali aimed at supporting the biotech ecosystem in Rwanda. In addition, Fuelster holds advisory roles at Akagera Medicines, Inc., and operates as Managing Director at Polaris Consulting and Invest GmbH. Previous roles include significant positions at the International Finance Corporation, where Fuelster was Country Manager for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Visegrad, focusing on investments in renewable energy and infrastructure, alongside a longstanding tenure at Dresdner Bank in project finance. Fuelster’s educational background includes a BSc in Business Administration, Finance, and Economics from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht.
