Ciaran O'Rourke

Ciaran O'Rourke is a highly experienced technology professional with a robust background in software architecture and engineering. Currently serving as a Principal Architect at Akamai Technologies since December 2020, Ciaran has previously held senior roles, including Software Architect at Asavie Technologies Ltd. from January 2005 to December 2020 and Senior Software Engineer at Virtual Access Ltd. from May 2003 to January 2005. Ciaran also has experience as a Software Architect at Innovada between 2000 and 2003 and began a career as a Software Engineer at Eicon Technology from July 1993 to September 2000. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Computer Applications from Dublin City University and NCEA qualifications in Computing from the Institute of Technology, Carlow.
