Lelah Manz

Lelah Manz is Senior Vice President of Edge Product and Business Strategy and leads the strategy and product direction of Akamai’s Edge Technology Group.

Since joining Akamai in 2005, Manz has held a variety of leadership roles across products, engineering, sales, services and marketing. Previously, she was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Akamai’s Web Performance business. In that role, she led the product and engineering teams responsible for Akamai’s core content delivery product lines, including the launch of EdgeWorkers, Akamai’s serverless Compute offering. Prior to that, she led Akamai's Advanced Technology Group, the sales organization responsible for incubating the go-to-market efforts for new Akamai products. This included Akamai's Zero Trust security portfolio, following Akamai's 2016 acquisition of Soha Systems, and Akamai's Identity Cloud solution, following the 2019 acquisition of Janrain. Before that, she held a variety of leadership positions at Akamai across services and marketing, focused primarily on the ecommerce sector.

Before joining Akamai, Manz spent eight years in the technology industry at Dell, Microsoft and Trilogy, in both the United States and Europe. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.
