Sherie Salzwedel

Sherie Salzwedel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and partnership development within the education sector. Currently serving as a Program Associate at Akanksha Education Fund since July 2022, Sherie previously held the role of Partnership Associate at EL Education, Inc., where day-to-day project management activities underscored collaboration with multiple Directors. Prior experience includes serving as Operations Project Manager at the American Leadership Forum of Oregon, coordinating internal operations and processes, and a significant tenure in various roles at AFS Intercultural Programs, including Regional Travel & Logistics Senior Coordinator. Sherie's background also features account management at Alta Sierra Communications and senior travel consulting across multiple organizations from 1988 to 2000. Sherie holds a BA in Anthropology from Oregon State University.
