Dr H. Kursat Celik

Dr. H. Kursat Celik has a diverse work experience spanning multiple institutions. Dr H. Kursat started their career as a Teaching Fellow/Instructor at Kocaeli University in 2004. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a CAD/FEA analyst at Mariner Ship's Equipment. Dr H. Kursat then joined Akdeniz Üniversitesi in 2007 as a Researcher/Research Assistant and worked there until 2013. During this period, they also served as a Visiting Researcher at Lancaster University in 2009. Dr. Celik returned to Akdeniz University in 2013 as an Assistant Professor and held this position until 2018 when they were promoted to Associate Professor. Dr H. Kursat later became the Deputy Director of the Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences for a period from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are serving as the Principal of the Vocation School of Kumluca (College of Kumluca) at Akdeniz University.

Dr H. Kursat Celik received a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Science Education with a specialization in Automotive Engineering Technology from Kocaeli University in 2003. Dr H. Kursat then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Mechanical Science Education from the same university from 2003 to 2006. Later on, Dr Celik attended Akdeniz University, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer-aided Design and Engineering with a focus on Agricultural Engineering from 2007 to 2013.
