Anees Qazi

Anees Qazi has extensive work experience in various roles related to delivery management, project management, and technical leadership. Their most recent position is as a Lead Delivery Manager at Aker Systems. Prior to that, they worked at Cyberfort Group as a Lead Delivery Manager for the Ministry of Justice. Anees also has experience as a Senior Project Manager at McArthurGlen Group.

Before these roles, Anees worked at John Lewis as a Project/Delivery Manager, where they managed the delivery of critical security projects and facilitated the migration of enterprise applications. Anees also held the position of Delivery Manager/Middleware Consultancy at John Lewis, where they led the migration of J2EE applications to WebSphere 8.5.

Earlier in their career, Anees worked at Citi as a VP - Technical Delivery Manager, leading a global team and delivering database auditing services. Anees also served as an AVP - Automation Workstream Lead at Citi, where they enabled DevOps capabilities and generated significant labor and productivity savings. Anees also worked as a Senior Middleware Specialist at Citi.

Prior to their role at Citi, Anees worked at Dixons Retail as a WebSphere Specialist, specializing in building and supporting J2EE applications. Anees also worked at Centrica as a WebLogic Specialist.

Anees started their career at IBM as a Senior Software Engineer, where they focused on application development.

Throughout their career, Anees has demonstrated expertise in project and delivery management, technical leadership, and migration of enterprise applications to different technology platforms.

Anees Qazi completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Bangalore University from 1995 to 1999. Prior to that, they attended St. Joseph's Higher Secondary School in Baramulla, J&K from 1979 to 1992, without obtaining a specific degree or field of study. Additionally, Anees Qazi has obtained several certifications including Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from The Knowledge Academy in April 2020, PRINCE2™ 2017 Practitioner from The Knowledge Academy in January 2019, and Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2017.
