Vasily Chernoplekov

Vasily Chernoplekov has extensive experience in asset management and private equity, currently serving in asset management and investments at Aker Companies since July 2020. Previously, Vasily worked as a Private Equity Summer Associate at Hill Path Capital in the summer of 2019, focusing on control-oriented investments. Prior roles include Private Equity Associate at Mubadala from May 2017 to July 2018, Investment Banking Analyst in Mergers & Acquisitions at VTB Capital from January 2016 to May 2017, and Analyst in Valuation and Business Modelling at EY from July 2014 to December 2015. Vasily holds an MBA in Finance and Business Analytics from The Wharton School (2018-2020) and a Master’s Degree in Finance and Business Development from ESCP Business School (2011-2014).
