Mamotena M.

Mamotena M. has extensive experience in the field of Human Resources. Mamotena began their career in 2011 as a Blackberry Ambassador for Blackberry Mobiles (RIM), where they planned and organized projects and did financial budgeting, marketing and research aimed at promoting the brand. In 2012, they took on the role of English Teacher at XploreAsia, where they compiled lesson plans for students and helped them learn English grammar, pronunciation and conversational skills. From 2014 to 2015, Mamotena worked at Oracle as a Junior HR Consultant C and at SABMiller as an HR Coordinator C. In 2017, they joined McKinsey & Company as a Professional Development & Learning Consultant. In 2019, they began working at Lemon as a People Development Specialist and in 2020, they joined Rand Merchant Bank as a Learning and Development. Currently, Mamotena is working at Wakanda Food Accelerator as a People Development Lead and at Akiba Digital as the Head of People and Culture.

Mamotena M. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from UCT between 2008 and 2011. In addition, they hold four certifications: Diversity and Inclusion from GO1 obtained in May 2020, Neuroscience Leadership from GO1 obtained in May 2020, UX Design Foundations: Design Principles and Strategies from GO1 obtained in May 2020, and Social Media Marketing Strategy from Smart Insights obtained in May 2019.
