Joerg Althoefer

Joerg Althoefer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and management within the railway and maintenance sectors. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Akiem Maintenance & Services and the Regional Director for the Northern Region at Akiem s.a.s since December 2017, as well as Head of Germany at Akiem s.a.s, Althoefer has demonstrated a commitment to operational excellence. Prior to Akiem, Althoefer held key positions at Harsco Rail, including Managing Director for Europe and Germany, along with roles in business development. Althoefer also contributed to DeltaRail as International Business Development Director and was Strategic Development Manager at Deloro Stellite Group Ltd. Educationally, Althoefer graduated from Regent's University London between 1996 and 2000.
