Fernando Catacora

Fernando Catacora is an experienced software engineer with a diverse range of roles and responsibilities. Fernando is currently working at AKKO as a Software Development Manager, where they lead a team and oversees the development of a platform for the Partners channel. This platform has facilitated the incorporation of numerous new partners and enabled direct sales through the software.

Prior to AKKO, Catacora worked at Analytics Fire as a Senior Software Engineer, where they supervised the implementation of a microservice using GraphQl technology. Their responsibilities included reviewing team members' work, creating implementation plans for complex features, and establishing protocols for similar client engagements in the medical technology industry.

Fernando Catacora has a diverse educational background spanning the fields of computer science, software engineering, and finance. Fernando began their education at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú in 2006, where they pursued a degree in Ingeniería informática, specializing in computer engineering. Fernando completed their studies in 2011.

In 2014, Fernando attended MakerSquare - School of Software Engineering, where they focused on web development and obtained a degree in the field of computer science. During the same year, they also completed additional certifications in marketing and investment analysis through Coursera and Lima Stock Market (VBL), respectively.

Continuing their pursuit in the field of computer science and visual media, Fernando enrolled at Sheridan College in 2017. There, they studied Desarrollo de Videojuegos y Programación Avanzada, which translates to Advanced Video Game Development and Programming, with a specialization in Computer Science and Visual Media. Fernando completed their studies at Sheridan College in 2018.

Additionally, in 2010, Fernando obtained a certification in Cobit Foundation from Isaca, further enhancing their knowledge and skills in the field.
