Jianwen Xie

Jianwen Xie is an experienced Associate Editor at Pattern Recognition, IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, and IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems. They also hold positions as Head of AI Research at Akool and previously worked as a Principal AI Research Scientist at BioMap. With a background in Computer Vision and a Ph.D. in Statistics, Jianwen Xie has led various research projects across prestigious organizations like Baidu USA and Hikvision USA. Additionally, they have contributed to projects related to image representation, generative AI, and object recognition during their time at the University of California, Los Angeles.
