Argyro Tasitsiomi

Argyro (Iro) Tasitsiomi is a seasoned professional in data science and artificial intelligence, currently serving as Head of AI and Head of Investments Data Science & Research at T. Rowe Price from March 2022 to July 2024. Prior to this role, Tasitsiomi was a Director and Principal Data Scientist at BlackRock, leading the Fund Investing team and managing AI Labs models to ensure technical robustness. As a cofounder of ImRobot, Tasitsiomi worked on mechatronics and robotics applications, and previously led data science efforts at CompIQ LLC, which was acquired by Stella.ai. Earlier experience includes a role as Lead Data Scientist at ThoughtWorks, focusing on fraud detection and supply chain optimization. Tasitsiomi holds a PhD in Astrophysics and a Master’s in Physics from the University of Chicago.
