Todor Angelov

Todor Angelov has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry, research institutions, and technology companies. Todor most recently worked at Akorn, Inc as the Head of Quality Control chem-phys, where they provided leadership and expertise in quality control. Prior to that, they were a Group Leader at Akorn, Inc responsible for QA Data Review. Todor also worked as a Senior Scientist at MSD and as an Analytical Chemist at Merck Group, where they contributed to research and quality services.

Before their industry experience, Todor worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at ETH Zurich - Institute of Food, Nutrition and Health, where they played a senior role in the establishment of a new research program. Todor provided strategic direction, infrastructure planning and maintenance, operational framework documentation, technical expertise, project management, and mentoring in the area of food toxicology. Todor also worked as a Research Chemist at Chemspeed Technologies AG and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Laboratory for Process Research.

Todor Angelov obtained their Master of Science (MSc) in Organic and Analytical Chemistry from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski between 1992 and 1997. Following this, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in organic synthesis, analytical chemistry, and biochemistry at the University of Zurich from 2000 to 2005.
