Lingadahalli Shantharama

Lingadahalli Shantharama, known as Rama, is an experienced engineering leader with a focus on MEMS technologies and semiconductor development. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Akoustis Technologies, Inc. since 2020, Rama is dedicated to advancing MEMS applications for 5G communications. Previously, as Sr MEMS Integration Engineer at Kionix, Inc. from 2018 to 2019, Rama played a key role in technology development and establishing relationships with Asian semiconductor production facilities. From 2006 to 2018, Rama held various leadership positions at Eastman Kodak Company, including Department Head and Technology Manager, overseeing semiconductor and MEMS device production and leading a team responsible for fabrication and research. Rama holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from the University of Surrey and a Master of Technology (MTech) in Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
