Frederic Pla

Frederic Pla is an accomplished executive with extensive experience spanning multiple roles in the biotechnology and healthcare industries. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Akoya Biosciences, Inc., Frederic focuses on advancing spatial phenotyping solutions for biological and health research. Previously, Frederic held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy, overseeing operations and fostering growth in immunotherapy trials. At Genomic Health, Frederic was instrumental in product portfolio management and strategic business development. Prior roles at GE included General Manager positions, where Frederic successfully led global healthcare IT businesses and innovative medical technology initiatives. Frederic holds a Ph.D. in Acoustics from Penn State University and additional degrees in Engineering from the University of Southampton and Université de Technologie de Compiègne.
