Nisha Ramesh

Nisha Ramesh is a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at Akoya Biosciences, Inc., with a career spanning over a decade in computer vision and imaging algorithms. Previously, Nisha served as the Lead Computer Vision Engineer at Epic Sciences, where responsibilities included leading the development of the Breast Cancer Imaging Algorithm as part of the DefineMBC test and contributing to the AR-V7 Imaging Algorithm. Nisha's early experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Student at the University of Utah, focusing on convex shape modeling and blood cell segmentation, as well as internships in machine learning and image processing at nView Medical and algorithm development at Indica Labs. Nisha holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah, along with a Bachelor’s in Telecommunication from Vishveshvaraya Technological University.
