Touqeer Ahmad

Touqeer Ahmad is a seasoned Computer Vision Engineer with extensive experience in research and development focused on image and video restoration and enhancement, currently employed at Blackmagic Design since March 2022. Previous roles include positions as a Research Associate and Sr. Professional Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, and as a Computer Vision Engineer at Blackmagic Design from 2018 to 2020, where Touqeer worked on tasks such as denoising and video stabilization using advanced algorithms. Additional experience encompasses positions as an Augmented Reality Research Engineer at Aireal, a Summer Research Intern at Honda Research Institute, and multiple academic roles in teaching and research at various universities. Touqeer holds a PhD and an MS in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno, along with multiple degrees in Computer Engineering and related fields.
