With over 18+ years of experience working across renowned brands and agencies for brand building and communication strategies, Vachana Shetty has found her calling as the Head of Marketing at Akshayakalpa Organic.
It is in her resonance with Akshayakalpa’s vision, beliefs and work, that Vachana has successfully raised awareness and fostered consciousness around subjects that are close to her heart and ones that the brand stands for. From encouraging conversations about the origin of food through the ‘Good Food Movement’ or spearheading cleanliness drives in the vicinity of their office, Vachana has always led by example.
As the force behind the first-of-its-kind recycling revolution, ‘The Let’s Give Back the Milk Pack’ initiative, Vachana is backed by a strong team that synergises in their desire to make a difference. Together, along with the patrons of Akshayakalpa Organic, they have recycled over 10,000Kg of milk packs – a feat that has garnered much appreciation and applause. She has also played a pivotal role in managing and launching various successful campaigns with a keen eye to zero-in on the consumer’s needs, demands and pain points.
An alumnus of SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Vachana has been previously associated with reputable organizations such as Himalaya Herbal Healthcare and Dentsu Mcgarrybowen. Her vision to build a purpose-led brand that resonates with the consumers and creates a positive social and environmental impact led her to Akshayakalpa Organic. Her holistic perspective, non-linear way of thinking and insights on branding and communication extends beyond professional endeavours. As an avid trekker, the sheer determination that has helped her complete over 100 treks across Karnataka, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Bali, and Australia, often spills over into the single-minded focus and persistence that enables her to deliver remarkable results at the workplace. Passionate about sustainable living, she advocates for clean eating and its benefits at various forums and events.
With the resolve of ensuring that every brand she works with reaches its full potential, Vachana Shetty continues to drive Akshayakalpa Organic towards its vision of a sustainable future.
