Melanie S. has a wealth of work experience in the bioscience field. Melanie began their career in 2005 as a Research Assistant at Harvard Medical School. Melanie then moved to the University of Colorado Denver in 2006, where they worked as a Senior Research Assistant until 2014. In 2014, they joined Thrive Bioscience, Inc. as a Scientist, where they led, managed, and executed biological testing of proprietary technology using a variety of mammalian cells. In 2019, they moved to MicroMedicine as an Application Manager, and in 2020 they joined Akston Biosciences Corporation as a Scientist II.
Melanie S. began their educational journey in 2001 when they attended Boston University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology, General in 2005. Melanie then continued their studies at the University of Colorado Denver and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Biology in 2014.
