Ömer Tuğrul Güler

Ömer Tuğrul Güler has extensive experience in the banking sector, with a focus on credit allocation and management. Ömer Tuğrul started their career in 2007 as a Credit Allocation Specialist at Deniz Finansal Kiralama AS, where they conducted intelligence and financial analysis of companies applying for loans. Ömer Tuğrul also prepared reports for credit packages and presented them to the Credit Committee. After completing mandatory military service, they joined Aktif Bank in 2010 as an Executive and was promoted to Associate Manager in 2011, and then to Manager-1 in 2013. In this role, they were responsible for intelligence reports, financial and risk analysis, and assessing credit risk profiles for corporate clients. Ömer Tuğrul also developed strong relationships with business partners and participated in the credit committee. Ömer Tuğrul briefly worked as a Credit Manager at PASHA YATIRIM BANKASI A.Ş. in 2021 before returning to Aktif Bank as a Credit Allocation Manager.

Ömer Tuğrul Güler graduated from Istanbul University in 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in Public Finance. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained various certifications from different institutions. Some of these include Agricultural Finance Training from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in 2020, Derivative Products from Aktif Bank in 2020, and an Italian Course Completion Certificate from Istituto Italiano Di Cultura in 2020. Other certifications they obtained over the years include Bank Balance Sheet Analysis from Aktif Bank in 2017, Banking Return on Assets, Passive Cost Calculation and Strategy Development from Türkiye Bankalar Birliği in 2014, and Bank Accounting from Türkiye Bankalar Birliği in 2012, among others. Ömer Tuğrul also obtained certifications such as Advanced Excel from Aktif Bank in 2010 and Money Laundry Prevention from DenizBank in 2009.
