Christian Hernandez

Christian Hernandez has worked in various roles throughout their career. Christian recently worked at Akuity as the Head of Community, where they communicated the company's approach to the world of engineers and engaged with users to solve complex problems. Before that, they were the Senior Principal Product Manager at Red Hat. Christian also served as the Head of Developer Experience and Community Management at Codefresh, where they spearheaded open-source innovation and collaboration initiatives. Christian has worked for Red Hat for several years, first as an Associate Specialist Solution Architect for their OpenShift Tiger Team and then later as a Senior Principal Technical Marketing Manager and a Senior Specialist Solution Architect. Prior to that, they worked at 4over, Inc. as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer and Team Lead, Infrastructure Engineer, and Associate System Administrator. Christian began their career as a Jr. Network Administrator at Karen Kane and a Geek Squad Cadet at Geek Squad.

Christian Hernandez earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from ITT Technical Institute in 2009. Christian has also earned several certifications over the years from various institutions such as Codefresh, CNCF, Red Hat, Cisco, and CompTIA. Some of the certifications they hold include GitOps Certified Level 2 for Argo: GitOps at Scale, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containers and Kubernetes, CCNA, Linux+, Network+, and A+.
